Mr. Eddie Gonzalez, who runs the Empire League, is also involved in the PTI baseball business, an academy for children. The Japanese team that can study here for a short period of time is PTI-Japan. Teams under 15 years old will consist of Japanese, and in some cases, mixed teams of local American children. The schedule allows students to experience life overseas through baseball. Round-trip airfare to the U.S., lodging, and meals are included.
